Austin Watercolor Meet-Up
Pack your paints and meet us for November's meet up in the garden at Este, the much loved restaurant nestled between East Austin neighborhoods! "Este celebrates fresh seafood, Mexican cuisine, and charcoal cooking.”
We’ll start with a garden walk led by garden manager Anamaría Gutierrez, then settle in at the picnic tables or pull up a chair beside your favorite plant. Jaime will lead a quick warm-up and is around for demos and questions. All levels welcome. Guests receive a $25 Este gift voucher and are invited to eat lunch after the meet-up.

Do I need to be an experienced painter?
Absolute beginners welcome! Please note that Jaime may provides a warm-up, direction if needed, and plenty of time for demos but there is NO FORMAL INSTRUCTION OR SET PROJECT FOR OUR TIME.
If you would like a more structured lesson it may be best to start with a private class or a workshop if one is one the schedule.
Is this online or in-person?
This meet up is in person at various venues across Austin. Jaime aims to partner with inspiring places that provide the perfect backdrop for painting and sharing resources.
What should I bring?
Watercolor Paints, brushes and sketchbook are a great start!
An email will be sent prior to our meet date with particular needs for each venue.
Will supplies be provided?
No. Please bring your own or pick from the list of suggestions Jaime curated here.
What does this cost?
Meet ups are generally $10 although the cost depends on the venue. Everything is done to keep this cost low,
Are there refunds?
There are no refunds for this although we can transfer your ticket to the next meetu-up or to a friend. Please contact Jaime if you are unable to attend.
